About Us
Todd Davidson has been working in digital media at Hoosier Times, Inc. since 1999.
When not at the office, he's frequently found on a bike on the fantastic cycling roads in Monroe and surrounding couties. Todd lives in Bloomington with his wife and two children.
An Indiana girl to the core, Kathryn Gardiner was born in Muncie where she was raised with her three older brothers and several pets. She received her bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications from Ball State University, and earned her master’s degree in Screenwriting from Hollins University in Roanoke, Va. She began calling Bloomington home in 2006 and has been the editor of the South-Central Indiana Bride’s Guide since 2007. She most enjoys the collaborating on the photoshoots with local models and advertisers. Away from the office, she spends most of her free time training in boxing, jiu-jitsu, Muay Thai and mixed martial arts.
A native Hoosier with family ties throughout Indiana, Brooke Toole McCluskey is the marketing manager for The Herald-Times and the South-Central Indiana Bride’s Guide. Brooke works with the content,
layout and advertising staffs on promotions and brand identity. Brooke enjoys hiking, camping, visiting the Bloomington Farmers’ Market, reading books with her young daughter,
and playing so much Scrabble she dreams about it.
Dana Dyer Pierson starting calling Bloomington home in 1998. A decade later, after getting to know many of Bloomington’s charms and secrets, she started writing for the South-Central Indiana
Bride’s Guide. Dana enjoys the opportunity to showcase local wedding resources and ideas to inspire couples to invest wisely (and well) for their big day. An entrepreneurial soul, Dana is also a Pure Romance consultant, freelance editor, voice talent, and travel agent. She brings more than 35 years of production and acting experience to her theatrical reviews for The Herald-Times. Dana also writes about business and wine for The Herald-Times family of publications. In her free time, she enjoys belly dancing, hiking, gardening, camping, cruising, and spending time with Joel, her husband of 14 years, and their amazing borzoi children.
A Hoosier from birth, Deborah Stroud has been in Bloomington “on and off” since 1976. She started working at The Herald-Times in 2004 and became the advertising photographer in 2006. As the primary
photographer for the South-Central Indiana Bride’s Guide, her favorite part of the job is working with the local, volunteer models each year. Deborah enjoys hiking and working in the yard, and lives
just outside Bloomington with her dachshund Kahlua and two “very spoiled” dumbo rats named Templeton and Harley.
